Master's in Business Administration programs give up and coming business professionals new skills in the management and organization of both money and people. Students get advanced training in topics such as accounting, economics, and finance. They also learn how to delegate, inspire, and support teams of employees from all areas of business. But many programs can be too expensive for some students, which is why today we're looking at degree programs that will give students a high-quality education without breaking the bank. So let's take a look at the Top 50 Best Value Online MBA Programs 2020!

FINDING AN MBA DEGREE

Finding the right MBA program can be hard at first. A lot of programs have similar structures, courses, and even concentrations! But not to fear – while they may share a number of similarities, all MBA programs have unique features that make them best suited for certain students. For example, students who thrive on structure and group work often prefer cohort-structured programs, which frequently utilize a preset course sequence that students progress through together. These courses also allow students to cover a breadth of subject matter, which can be good for professionals who are still figuring out their business niche. Students with a stronger idea of their career goals and focuses often prefer programs that have a wide range of concentrations and a higher proportion of elective credits. These programs will sometimes dedicate more than half of their required courses related to students' career goals and interests.

To qualify for entry into an MBA program, students are generally expected to have completed prerequisite coursework in business, accounting, or other related subjects. Students who earned their undergraduate degree in one of these subjects will likely meet these requirements, while students who earned a non-business related degree will probably have to take foundation courses before starting their MBA. Other programs also require work experience, from anywhere between two to seven years, for entry into the program. Once students graduate with their MBA, they immediately become prime candidates for a raise or promotion at their current job. It can also give professionals the flexibility to find a new job or forge a new career path. For example, Management Analysts in business earn a median income of more than $80,000 per year, and the BLS expects more than 200,000 job openings in this field over the coming decade.
